Coalpro Mining & Civil is a contracting company based in the Newcastle / Hunter Valley area that services companies on a Global basis and is proud to have always been 100% Australian owned and operated.
The Company commenced operations in 2010 with a highly skilled workforce and a management team that holds over 45 years combined experience in all facets of Underground Mining, Tunnelling and Civil construction works.
We employ the most experienced personnel in the business and they take pride in delivering the highest quality of safety and service.

The Company’s administration, workshop and warehouse are located at Cardiff near Newcastle, NSW. The workshop manufactures quality equipment and products for both the mining and civil construction industries.
Coalpro Mining & Civil places a great emphasis on its Safety Management System in order to maintain an effective OH&S Management System.
Our Safety Management System meets all Australian Regulatory requirements and (our) Comprehensive Training Programs for all employees are included as part of these requirements.

Resin Injection
We provide a complete service for Strata injection, Stabilisation, Roadway re-development, Cavity filling and fall recoveries utilising our own specifically designed equipment, methods and procedures.
Ventilation Services
Coalpro Mining & Civil designs and installs only quality mine ventilation devices. Our range of engineer rated structures including bulkheads and stoppings, man and vehicle doors and overcasts can be tailor made suit any site requirements.

The Team
Wayne Edwards – Managing Director
Wayne has over 16 years mining experience covering most underground mines throughout NSW and QLD. Wayne has extensive experience in all facets of mining operations and management of Ventilation, Secondary Support, Cement Injection, Roof and Floor Drilling/Coring(,) Roadway Re(-)development , Polyurethane, Silicate and Phenolic Resin injection, \Cavity filling and Fall Recovery contracts for both Underground and Civil works. Wayne is a qualified Trainer/Assessor with over 10 years experience in the project management and requitement fields.
Joe Edwards – Project Management / Supervisor
Joe has over 35 years experience in underground mining in project supervision and management, he also has over 20 years experience in all facets of Polyurethane injection for fall recovery, water stopping and strata stabilization. Joe has worked in a large number of the NSW and QLD coal mines over the years as a Supervisor and project manager on secondary support installation, Ventilation construction and PUR injection contracts.
Scott Emmett – Underground Supervisor
Scott has 10 years experience in management and supervision. He also has 2 years experience in all facets of Polyurethane, Silicate and Phenolic resin injection and Secondary support.
Dianne Emmett – Administration and Accounts Manager
Dianne has over 10 years experience in Bookkeeping, a certificate in financial services, a advanced diploma in accounting and a commerce degree majoring in financial accounting. Dianne roll is to oversee all the company’s administration and accounts.
